In 8th Grade Social Studies, we learn about U.S. History with an emphasis on North Carolina History. While facts are important, it is just as important that you learn how to think for yourself, justify your opinions using source based evidence, and apply your knowledge in various ways.
SUPPLIES: You will need access to internet and laptop. You may want to have a composition book and writing utensils to take notes/write things down. Also, there may be times when you are asked to draw or illustrate your knowledge, so you will need access to colored pencils/markers and digital camera to upload images.
